Specialist Equipment Donation Enhances Children’s Eye Care Across Northern Ireland

Children across Northern Ireland are set to benefit from faster and more accessible diagnosis of potentially serious eye conditions, thanks to a significant donation from Dr Terry Cross OBE, Patron of the David Cross Foundation for Peace and Reconciliation. The donation was marked at a special event attended by ForSight NI Charity Ambassador and actress Victoria Smurfit, who showed her support for the work being carried out to improve children’s eye health across the region.

We’re thrilled to have hosted the amazing The Fred Daly Pro-Am at Balmoral Golf Club event with the generous support of Hinch Distillery and BiOPAX Ltd. The day was filled with great sportsmanship, networking, and entertainment.

A special highlight was the celebrity sporting panel featuring Simon Thornton, Paddy Wallace, Neil McManus, and James Nesbitt. Their stories and insights truly made the evening unforgettable.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to raising funds for sight-saving equipment for babies at the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast.
